First :
This game has not had a sex scene so far, and to be honest, I do not care at all. The story of the game and how it was made is so fascinating that it does not need to be. This game is mostly based on characters and character relationships, so in these save files, we have tried to consider the information that is important in the story line.
Secondly:
The other characters in the game do not have a specific path in the game so far. Once the path of these characters is known, their path will be added to the packs.
Also, the transgender path in this game is not completely clear so far. When these paths are specified for characters, these paths will be added to the pack.
Thirdly:
It ‘s true that I made this pack of saves, but if this is the first time you want to play this game, I highly recommend that you play it from the beginning. Avoid skipping parts of the game so that you can enjoy the game properly.

Unzip the mod and put the “game” folder in your Summer’s Gone root directory (where the original game folder is). Overwrite files when asked.
Compatibilities:
- This mod does NOT work nor provide compatibility with Scrappy’s Walkthrough Mod
- This mod is not compatible with IPatch, since Ocean assures that it is not canon

Features:
The idea for this mod came after noticing the extensive cuts done to Summer’s Gone for the Steam release, which were done in various stages. But the extensive reworks over the game during its development have led to a number of changes that are not quite obvious to keep track of. I revisited previous releases, their scripts and assets to come up with a list of what could/should be done, and that which shouldn’t/couldn’t.
I want to stress out that I don’t blame Ocean for doing what he did, most of the reworks are much better (in my opinion) from a narrative and rendering perspective. But some cuts being done to secure a 16+ rating for Steam, something was missing…
I must emphasize that the very, very large majority of reworked renders have been kept. There are only a couple of deleted scenes using older assets that have been reintroduced (more on that later). But this was done only because they still fitted well with renders both before and after such scenes, being part of the same renders generation. And anyway, not everything was reworked by Ocean himself…
The narrative: the Season 1 release has had entire lines of dialogs rewritten to be less offensive. I’ve reintroduced a large portion of them but only when making sure the whole narrative remained coherent. There were also gaps in the narrative that didn’t make sense, due to the reworks. For instance, Mrs Harrison was no longer introduced to MC. I tried reintroducing those renders but the quality difference was too obvious with the newer renders, and the narrative no longer worked. I therefore amended slightly the narrative so that she introduces herself to the class when starting her teaching lesson. It also always bothered me that she would yell to keep quiet to the MC and Nia as if she knew their names (she didn’t by then), while the MC would only tell her his name a few minutes later. That is an example of narrative that I fixed.
Typos which I spotted were also fixed. There still might be some there and there.
Isolated renders: in some scenes, Season 1 had a couple of renders removed or altered. Examples of reintroduced renders are the Nami topless scene at the lake (while reintroduced in the Season 1 release, it still missed a couple of renders), or the Victoria bathroom scene (the naked pussy shot). MC’s penis is also visible again in the dressing room scene with Bella, as well as a couple of frontal nudity for Bella in the shower scene at the gym. There are also isolated renders reintroduced that might go unnoticed (butt shots of Nami, Nojiko, Amber…), all initially removed to tone down the Steam release for a 16+ rating.
Undoctored renders: dozens of “undoctored” renders have been restored for better visual experience and continuity. With the Season 1 release, Ocean did apply a lot of “blur” to some background elements on many renders, to try and hide them (maybe he was using an asset he failed to gain the rights for, who knows…). In any case, the end-result is really poor and unworthy of the game overall render quality. These changes have been reversed. For a better understanding of what the differences were, have a look here:
Scenes: many scenes being altered, reworked or removed, I’ve focused on those which still made sense with the final narrative, and whose render quality would not distract from the playing experience. Reintroduced scenes include :
- Chapter 3: Nami topless getting dressed and pressing her body against MC. Dialog adjusted to fit the final narrative.
- Chapter 3: Nami and MC watching a porno (partial reintroduction). Adjusted to fit the final narrative (new for V1.2)
- Chapter 3: Small dialog scene between MC and Nojiko as they walk to Amber’s office for MC’s therapy session.
- Chapter 3: MC comforting Nami while she is topless in her room. Dialog adjusted to fit the final narrative.
- Chapter 3.5: Nia exposing her nipple.
- Chapter 4: The jacuzzi scene is now as it appeared in its initial release.
- Chapter 4.5: Nipple pump scene with Nami.
- Chapter 4.5: The “Foursome” scene is now as it appeared in its initial release.
- Chapter 4.5: The Vic tiddy fondling scene is back and now complements the neck-kissing portion of that scene.
- Chapter 4.5: Aurora screenshots shown during the conversation between MC and Mila.
Cinematics: I addressed two different issues with the cinematics: removal of some of them, and rendering glitches. Many of the cinematics had single-frame rendering glitches which made them appear “jerky” in transition between shots. These have been removed. The fading between some cinematics and static renders was also problematic and has been addressed as efficiently as possible. Also, some of these cinematics being transitions between chapters had some “End of chapter xx” in them, these have been removed (see “Chapter ends” below). And some missing cinematics were reintroduced, not only those needed for the reintroduced scenes, but also the following:
- Chapter 1: “Raccoon” introduction (new for V1.2) / MC and Summer kiss / MC trying to prevent Vic’s accident (new for V1.2)
- Chapter 2: “Coffee Shop” / “Bella crying”
- Chapter 3: “Too Many Voices” / MC’s fight in the classroom (new for V1.2) / “Nami vs Bella” short fight
Other cinematics were considered but didn’t make it in the end due to significant render quality difference or change of narrative.
Chapter end titles: as part of the Season 1 release, some chapters had end titles that wouldn’t make sense anymore (such as Chapter3 still being subtitled « The introduction »), most didn’t have any form of end title while a single one had a simple text display showing « End of chapter xx ». All chapters now have the same simple text ending title card.
Gallery: uncensored CG renders, restored scenes and cinematics replays
Installation:
Unzip the file and move the content of the unzipped folder into the “game” subfolder of your Summer’s Gone season 1 folder.
To uninstall the mod, remove the “uncut.rpy” and “uncut.rpyc” files as well as the “gui”, “Benutzerdefiniert” and “images” folders.
OK, since the infamous patch was nowhere near getting updated for the final Season 1 release (and I have a feeling somehow it won’t be released by the same source as before, given the Patreon politics), I’ve tasked myself with creating it. Well, updating it for the final release…
Here’s the i-patch for the current Steam release. Should work fine with the Patreon build as well since they’re identical.
The patch is compatible with Steam achievements.
I took the exact same approach as with previous versions of the patch, just unzip the attached and drop the “patchSG.rpy” file into the “game” directory of your SG folder. Don’t change the filename!
Upon first launch the game will recreate the compiled “patchSG.rpyc” companion file.
Dialog changes come from the previous patch released for Chapter 5 beta, slightly amended when necessary to fit the updated Season 1 original dialogs. I did fix a few lines (just basic mistypes) from the Season 1 release as well.
But there’s more. As you know a lot of further censoring went into the Season 1 release. Ocean cut a few risky renders, toned down some of the dialogue. And while he removed many of the assets cut from the game, a very small number of them were left in. So I’ve reenabled them with this patch and also restored some of the more spicy dialog (when it made sense, while keeping it balanced).
But please note : this is NOT an “uncensor” mod! The restored shots are part of larger scenes and are just additional shots. They wouldn’t change your perception of the scene. It just felt like unnecessary edits on Ocean’s part. I’ve attached a couple of them to this post. There are more drastic cuts which will be addressed with a full “uncensor” mod with i-patch, to be released by myself as well in the next couple of days, once testing is completed.
Tested this patch on a brand new Steam download of the game, on MacOS. Should work fine with Windows/Linux as well. I’ve tested several paths and did a few saves and loads with no issues. Your previous saves might not work with it though.
